We’re popping up in more places than ever, we’ve welcomed some new faces to the team, and there’s a class that could use a few more of you. Here’s what’s happening at Dover Pottery Studio, both inside the studio and out in the community.
doverpottery.studio has a fresh new look! Easier navigation and a lot more going on behind the scenes to make finding classes, memberships, and Pop-Up Pots sessions simpler. Keep an eye on this space for more news to come.
On-Location Pottery
Pop-Up Pots, our on-location, single-session handbuilding workshops, has expanded to more partner venues across the Seacoast and up into Maine. Whether it’s a cidery, a brewery, a farm, or a favorite local spot, we’re bringing guided clay projects to more communities than ever, with new venues added regularly.
To make it easier to find (and get to!) an upcoming session, Pop-Up Pots now has its own dedicated page. Check out the full class list, a calendar view, and a brand new Map tab: a look at every partner venue currently hosting Pop-Up Pots sessions, so you can see what’s happening near you and click straight through to sign up.

New Open Studio Membership
We’ve also opened up a new, more accessible way to keep a regular practice going between classes: Open Studio Membership. It gives you studio access during our scheduled open studio hours, a shelf for in-progress work, and a lower monthly cost than a full Resident Membership. Take a look at the Memberships page for the details on both membership levels.
A Few Spots Still Open
We’d love a few more hands (and hearts) around the wheel: Explore Wheel and Intro to Wheel both still have openings. Head to the classes page for dates and to register, or reach out to us directly if you have any questions.
Out in the Community
Things are quiet on the festival and market front for the rest of summer, but we’re already lining up a full slate of fall events. Stay tuned to our newsletter and social media for dates and locations.
